The Shelter Group Presents O'Neill with Distinguished Service Award
Baltimore, MD -The Shelter Group, a Baltimore-based real estate development and management company specializing in multi-family and senior living communities awarded Amanda O’Neill the coveted Distinguished Service Award at their annual Manager’s conference. The award is presented to an individual of the company who is deemed to have had a significant positive and long-term impact on the company.
O’Neill is a 20 year employee of Shelter and current Executive Director of Mays Chapel Ridge, an Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Impaired community under Brightview Senior Living, a division of The Shelter Group. She started with Shelter in 1986 as a leasing consultant for various multi-family and senior communities. In 2001, as the Independent Living Director at Mays Chapel Ridge in Timonium, O’Neill fully leased the independent living component of the senior community in a record 13 months, an unprecedented achievement in the company to this day.

O’Neill, along with her team at Mays Chapel has also received numerous other awards based upon outstanding occupancy, revenue and resident and employee satisfaction. She resides in Ellicott City with her husband and family.
